🩷 Something new I’d love to start with Cakes by Jordan…

Today I got to make this sweet little cake pop bouquet for a birthday girl whose mama just wanted to make her day extra special and needed a little help doing so. I’m so glad I was able to be a small part of her special day. 🥹

It also got me thinking about something I’d really love to start doing more often.

I’ve always believed that when you put good into the world and are good to others, good has a way of finding its way back to you. And as Cakes by Jordan continues to grow, I’d love to use it as an opportunity to give back a little more, too. 💕

Every so often, I’d like to gift something sweet to someone in our community who could use a little extra kindness. Maybe it’s a birthday cake for a family who needs a little help, a treat for someone going through a hard time, or simply a surprise for someone who deserves a reason to smile. 🎂

And I’d love for you guys to help me find those people!

I’m going to come up with a way for you to privately nominate someone who could use a little extra love. There doesn’t have to be a huge story or even a special occasion. Sometimes a small act of kindness is all it takes to make someone’s day. 🥰

I obviously won’t be able to choose every nomination, but as time and resources allow, I’d love to make this a little part of Cakes by Jordan.

No recognition needed and no personal stories shared publicly — just something sweet, from one person to another. 🩷

As soon as I saw the inspo pic for this cake, I knew it was going to be SO cute! 🥹🩷 I love getting to create smash cakes for all of your sweet one-year-olds and be a tiny part of such a special birthday! 🎀🎂

And the BIG news is…. 🥁👀

WE’RE MOVING!! 🏡

Some of you got it right! 😂 Others guessed a building, storefront, trailer… which would be AMAZING someday, but that’s not quite in the cards for us right now!

And before anyone freaks out—we are staying right here in York! 🩷

One thing I’m especially excited about with our new home is having even more space to dedicate to Cakes by Jordan! 🎂 I can’t wait to get settled in, make the new kitchen my own, and hopefully start offering some new goodies… cinnamon rolls may or may not be on that list. 👀🤭

With everything going on, I’ll probably be a little quieter on here throughout September and won’t be taking any additional orders for September or early October beyond what I already have scheduled.

So many exciting changes ahead for our family and my little baking business! 🏡🎂🩷

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from making treats over the years, it’s that you all LOVE pink! 🩷🎀

I didn’t realize just how many pink creations I’ve made until putting this video together. Safe to say pink will always have a special place around here! 💕
