Hiii guys 🤍 Wanna share something we’re super excited about!!
If you’ve been hanging around for a while you know that a portion of every sale is donated. This wasn’t our idea, it was already in motion when we bought the business & always felt like an invitation to take the torch being passed & step into a kingdom collaboration, a co labor of Love & a wild adventure (usually more like a rollercoaster tbh 🎢 😂)
The heart of the business, then & now, has been faith in a God who loves us all wildly, pursues us faithfully & is constantly inviting us into the work He’s already doing. Nurturing seeds He plants & loving the people He puts in front of us.
Because of you guys over 80k has been given to non profits, families & individuals over the years. You guys did that ❤️
One of those non profits is zangibikes , founded by some of our dearest friends in 2021. Over the past few years you guys have helped purchase 25 high quality bikes for people living in rural Kenya, gifting not just a bike but transportation to work, school, healthcare, empowerment & opportunity. Pretty awesome.
I don’t have enough space here to fully articulate everything thumping in my heart about all of this but in January our daughter Ella & i GET TO GO TO KENYA 🥹 Excited is an understatement. We’ll be serving alongside our friends at Zangi, meeting new friends & helping deliver bikes in person. Feels kinda surreal & also exactly like the kind of invitation God loves to extend.
Because of this opportunity we’re doing something a little different with our donation model this year. A portion of each sale for the entire year will go towards our trip & purchasing more bikes to bring with us.
We’ll be sharing lots more about Zangi Bikes + we have a super fun way for you guys to support them that we’ll be sharing so soon!!
We’re unbelievably excited about this, guys. We’ve been praying about it for a long time & have already seen so many cool things happen since getting the green light. Thank YOU guys SO MUCH. Seriously. For your love & support & for being a part of the ripple. we love you ❤️- L

Hey friends! We’ve had lots of questions about when our new site will be up and how to order in the meantime. First, just want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for your patience and support over the last several months since we launched the rebrand. It’s been a slow, winding path - good things take time though, right?? 😅 We’ve been working really hard on a bunch of the kinda boring but really necessary behind the scenes things in order to steward this little business well. Wont lull you to sleep with the details, but I do want to thank you guys for supporting us while we work out some of the kinks and continue to build. We haven’t had a site up for months and you guys continue to show up in so many ways. Thank you for every message, every wholesale order, every fundraiser, every refill, for each sale at our shops and for sticking with us on this journey. Literally could not do it without you. It’s a big deal. Thank you ❤️

found a pic of dust & I in the courtyard at market right after we bought little light. that bun in my belly turns 10 next month. how? 😭❤️
something I’ve become increasingly thankful for are all the other business owners I’ve met over the years. so many different people, backgrounds, personalities, so many different stories. one thing we all have in common is a “why”. the why may be different, the methods & outcomes too but each one has a why burning in their heart & each one works harder than you know to see it to fruition. whether they post a ton or aren’t on here at all, have a store front or an online biz, started from the ground up, bought or inherited, have big plans for expansion or are happy with small & slow.. i have not met a single one who does not pour out an abundance of time, energy & heart. some are crushing it & some are struggling to keep the doors open. after 10 years (over 20 for Dust & his biz) we’ve been on both ends (all relative to what your definition of “crushing it” is ofc 😆) & mostly reside somewhere in the middle. something i’m continually being reminded of.. clap for the ones thriving & encourage the ones struggling. clap louder when you feel comparison creeping in. thank God for their success & ask Him to increase it. lift up, edify, encourage & share the wisdom/experience you have with those struggling (& the ones crushing it!) ask for wisdom & experience from those around you. habits that guard & free your heart from jealousy & pride & invite you to reap the benefits of a true “community over competition”// Kingdom mentality. when you view the people around you as dream carriers & image bearers, it expands your vision & your heart. it can be so easy to let junk creep in, especially when you’re struggling or can’t see the next steps. speaking from experience, always always.
we are being formed daily..for the good, or not. you have more influence than you realize..for the good, or not. guard your heart, guard your mouth so that you can be radically & authentically generous with both. reminders (for me mostly) on repeat. i SEE all of YOU amazing small business owners out there & I am so proud of you👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

a handful or two every morning, a basketful here & there, several weeks drying, several more weeks infusing, all after waiting several months for them to even break the surface of the soil. the slow growth, the deep Beauty & all the lessons in the planting, tending, watching, waiting, listening & Seeing has been, for me, where so much of the heart medicine is🫀

Heyyo friends ☀️ We’ve been working hard, playing hard & trying to soak in every bit of this season. Just poured our summer line last night and (shockingly 😂) over half are coming straight out of my happy place 🍅🥬🪱🐞🦋🌱🌻🌹🌞🥒🥕A few you’ll recognize and few brand new.. ive been working on something for a sweet, young friend with eczema. getting a message from her mama telling me that its helping & providing relief made my whole week ❤️
3 simple ingredients packed with soothing, hydrating and healing properties 🕊️ super gentle, super effective.
🌼 calendula oil- our homegrown calendula slowly infused in jojoba oil over several weeks. flavonoids & triterpenoids help reduce inflammation by calming redness, irritation and swelling while offering deep hydration and helping to repair the skin barrier.
