Green Moon Farm

Green Moon Farm Green Moon Farm is a chemical free, sustainable vegetable farm located at The Horn Farm Center in Hallam Township in York County, PA.

We grow local produce with a deep love and respect for our Mother Earth. Eventually, there will be four seasons and four winds of change that will assist all of us in finding the rhythums of harmony. The three white moons will give us a time of rest when the Ice Beings will cover the soil. Then The Green Moons will begin, bringing new life to the Plant People. Then the three yellow moons will brin

g a time of Ripening and Fullness. The three red moons will follow, bringing the time of harvest. The 13th moon is the blue moon when all the Children of the Earth will find their natural ability to change and transform.

Good Morning! It’s been about 6 years since I’ve posted on this page and for most of you (if you’re still here) my exits was rather abrupt. As I was planning for the 2016 farming season my husband (well, then boyfriend, it’s been a busy 6 years, but I’ll get to that) and I found out dream farm for sale and as we started the process to purchase it, it became clear that the mortgage company needed more consistent income from me that what my farm was providing. So fast forward 6 months of stress and paperwork and a new job for me, we settled on our very own almost 10 acre dream farm in southern York county! And then a few months later we got married. And then 2 years later we had a baby. And all the while we have been growing vegetables and growing our farm, well and our daughter. A couple years ago Mike and his family grew h**p. I’m studying herbalism. We have about a half acre of garden space where we still grow a ton of vegetables and last year we started our road side farm stand and this year I am joining forces with a favoite friend to offer a herb CSA. It’s been a wild ride, but I’m still here and still growing and am looking to reconnect through this page. What have you been up to the past 6 years??
