☕ 🔨Founders Off Duty (…kind of 😊)

Monday, Lance and I took a little time to step away and visit a local diner that absolutely won us over. We were gifted a certificate for our engagement by some dear friends (Hey Karen 💚) and OMG

From the moment we walked in, there was so much heart in the space. It felt open, welcoming, and comfortable in a way that makes you want to stay awhile.

One thing that especially stood out to us was our waitress. She was incredibly kind, knowledgeable about food sensitivities, and took extra care helping us and others around navigate options. Those little moments of thoughtfulness mean so much and they remind us why intentional businesses matter. So when you can show Hallamshire Family Restaurant some love! Tell em we sent you!!

Afterwards… we headed right back to the shop because apparently founders don’t stay off duty for long 😂 which so cool to know their just a hop and skip over from us! 🏃🏻‍♀️💨💨💨

And yall know something exciting is happening behind the scenes…

We do what we do…divided and conquered:
Lance started building our new displays and furnishings
Sam scheduled upcoming orders and deliveries

Next up? Getting our fridge wheeled in and set up 🚚🥶🧊

It’s surreal seeing this next chapter come together 🏁

When we opened up our Pantry, this phase felt like a future milestone. Now we’re standing in the middle of it and watching it be real.

Thank you for growing with us, cheering us on, and allowing us to keep dreaming bigger.

This is a milestone we’ve been dreaming about since the very beginning!
One of those goals was to eventually expand beyond refill products and begin offering thoughtfully sourced foods that aligned with our values of wellness, sustainability, and community.

Our hope was to reach that milestone within our first year.

To say we’ve been humbled by your support would be an understatement, because thanks to this incredible community, we’ve been able to reach that goal much sooner than we ever imagined. 🥺❤️ It is because of your support we got it done in EIGHT months!!! 🤯

What started as a refill shop is continuing to grow into the pantry and market we’ve always envisioned.

Over the coming days and weeks, you’ll begin to see new food offerings arriving and fridges in the shop. These snacks and goodies include options that support a variety of lifestyles and dietary needs:

🚙 Over Memorial Day week, we took a road trip to celebrate Samantha’s birthday. We came home with hundreds of photos, but what those photos don’t always show are the moments in between.

The conversations. The connections. The joy.

We slept under a sky of stars. We explored beautiful valleys, watched eagles and hawks soar overhead, spotted fish and lizards along our journey, and experienced the legendary ice mines that somehow produce ice in the summer months. We tasted local honey, met passionate makers, and even stumbled upon another refill shop, Love Evelyn such a wonderful surprise that highlights we’re part of a much larger community.

Along the way, we met people who take pride in doing things by hand: grinding their own flour, baking fresh bread, crafting cosmetics, blending teas, raising chickens, supporting local farms, and preserving the places they call home. Their passion was inspiring.

This trip reminded us why we do what we do 🌱

Our refill shop isn’t just about containers, products, or transactions. It’s about helping preserve the beauty we were fortunate enough to experience. It’s about supporting thoughtful choices, local communities, and making low-waste living accessible to everyone.

Even on vacation, we never stop caring about the environment. In fact, this trip left us feeling even more energized and grateful to continue serving our community.

We’re proud to offer bulk goods and refill options at prices that are often competitive with, and sometimes lower than many big-box stores because we believe sustainable choices shouldn’t be a luxury.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Every refill, every reused container, and every visit to our shop helps support a future with less waste and more appreciation for the world around us. 🫙

📍Middletown at their community event from 9 AM to 3 PM

They are also collecting non-perishable food items for a local food pantry!
