A hard update from the flower field 💔

After the flooding Yorktown experienced and the continued wet weather that followed, our field has taken on more water than the flowers could handle. We held out hope that things would dry out and bounce back, but unfortunately, the damage has been too much to recover from this season.

Because of that, we’ll be closing U-pick for the remainder of the season and cancelling photography sessions.

We are incredibly disappointed to have the season end this way, especially after looking forward to so many more summer days in the flowers with you. Thank you to everyone who came out, picked a bouquet, shared the field with friends and family, or supported us from afar this year. It has meant so much to us 💐

If anything changes and we’re able to reopen in any capacity, we’ll be sure to share an update here.

For now, we’re looking ahead to next year and hoping to come back stronger than ever 🤍

Due to the flooding throughout Yorktown and in our flower field, we’ll be closed for U-pick Friday and Saturday while we give the field time to dry out and assess conditions. We’ll revisit Sunday U-pick as we get closer and share an update once we know more.

The wine tasting event has also been rescheduled for Saturday, August 22nd.

Our hearts are with everyone in our Yorktown and Muncie community who has been impacted by the flooding.

A summer wine tasting is coming to the flower field 🍷

Join us Saturday, August 15 for a golden-hour evening surrounded by flowers and Midwest summer. Local sommelier Jampagne All Day will guide you through four summer-inspired wines, served alongside a charcuterie board from Love August Events.

After the tasting, spend the rest of the evening wandering the flower field and creating a bouquet to take home.
