This afternoon I enjoyed time outside on our front porch. Tilly needed extra pets and love while we both enjoyed the sunshine and fresh air 💙

Tilly has the most soulful eyes and is extremely athletic. She always finds a way to be right beside me when I am outdoors and gently paws my leg for extra attention.

There is always something fun going on at the Indiana State Fair! We enjoyed watching the 6 horse hitches, Valais Blacknose sheep, and a western pleasure class on draft horses. The fair will last one more week and the weather looks more favorable - stop in for some fun! ❤️

Our Shetland ewe Mars won her fall ewe lamb class and made it into the final 4 out of 37. We are super proud of her and excited to see her in the show ring next year!

This was such a strange Indiana State Fair between the flooding in our hometown and the destruction at our farm.

It was such a wonderful time to have so much family show up to support our kiddos at an early show time of 8am!

I am grateful that our older two children were able to attend the show as well. It is always special to me to have our family picture taken together.

Year 11 at the Indiana State Fair will be a year I won’t soon forget ❤️

The kids enjoyed the halter contest and lead line at the Indiana State Fair.

We have Paul Revere and England as well as Dory and Nemo. Both kiddos were 1st!

Lovelyn did the lead line with her wool skirt and a matching wool scarf for her sheep Boomer. She made the honor group.

First off, we are super thankful for God’s protection over our family last night. We experienced a terrible storm and had lots of tree damage around the farm but thankfully our house, barns, and animals were spared ❤️

I’ve enjoyed some time outside the wool room spinning the last few days. This yarn is my black Shetland combined with some teal silk for a little extra pop of color. What project or hobby have you been working on lately? Feel free to share pictures 🤍🩷
