We are thrilled to be a part of The Farm Basket in Somonauk! Char has known us since the very beginning of Treasure Breads - she is a true treasure!❤️❤️❤️

The Farm Basket would like to tip our caps to Treasure Breads, Inc. as our first weekly highlighted vendor.

For Geneva Pederson, of Yorkville, it began in 2007 as a way to teach her young son about sharing & giving back. Together they made her sweet breads, sold them at a farmers market and donated their earnings to help others. As it turned out, the breads were a huge success and Treasure Breads, Inc. was born.

Treasure Breads was selling in The Little Traveler shop, and then featured in Chicago Tribunes Foods section. Shortly after, Geneva started shipping her delicious sweet breads across the country. Geneva's sister, Rena, soon joined the company and they now are featured in 25 Gloria Jeans shops, and have partnered with Whole Foods to sell in 9 stores throughout Illinois.

Treasure Breads has become a popular fundraing project supporting local youth groups and organizations.

Please be sure to visit The Farm Basket (235 W. Market St., Somonauk) this Friday & Saturday and sample these delicoius breads for yourself. Congrats to Treasure Breads, Inc. for all your success! We are proud to have you as one of our vendors.

We hope you will join us tonight and tomorrow for our first ever “Old-Fashioned” Christmas Celebration at the Chapel on the Green! 🎄✨

The festivities begin this evening (12/16) with a *FREE* performance by the Yorkville High School Madrigal Singers @ 7pm.

Tomorrow (12/17) is our “Family Fun Day” 10am-5pm. Enjoy sweet treats from our bake sale, a children’s coloring activity & story time, “Dept. 56” Christmas village display, live music, a visit from Santa & Mrs. Claus, caroling — and LOTS more! 🎅🏻🤶🏻

Come celebrate with us tomorrow morning in Yorkville's Town Square!

Yorkville's 4th of July parade is tomorrow! Treasure Breads large and mini loaves will be for sale in front of Chapel on the Green NFP with Troop 40 from 8:30-1:00! There will also be coffee, popcorn, and Sno-Cones!
