Being an ocean lover and surfer, I have recognized and benefitted from the renewing and calming feeling that being in the ocean or on the waves has provided me for the last 45 years of my life. To help others in need, the family of Seawolf Wines will be donating $1 for every bottle of Red Triangle Zinfandel sold to an amazing non-profit called, .

Operation Surf is a curriculum-based program aimed to inspire injured military and veterans to seek wellness in all aspects of their lives while providing the necessary resources, tools, and peer-to-peer support to continue this mindset indefinitely. One wave at a time, Operation Surf utilizes the healing powers of the ocean to restore hope, renew purpose, and revitalize community for our injured military members and veterans.

The Red Triangle is a colloquial name of a roughly triangle-shaped region extending from Bodega Bay, out slightly beyond the Farallon Islands, and the Big Sur region. The Red Triangle is not only home to a very large population of marine mammals and their top predator, the Great White Shark, but also coincidentally has some of the greatest surf breaks in northern California.

Earth Day, the SEAWOLF way 🌊🌎

It starts in the soil—with organic farming that works with nature, not against it. It carries through the cellar with organic winemaking that lets each vintage speak for itself. No shortcuts, just respect for the land every step of the way.

And when the work is done? We paddle out. Surfing keeps us connected—to the rhythm of the ocean, the pull of the tides, and the reminder that nature is always in charge.

From sea level to summit, the journey comes full circle at our mountain-top tasting room. After a morning in the waves, there’s nothing like a glass of wine above the clouds—where ocean energy meets alpine air.

This Earth Day, we’re celebrating the flow between it all: soil, sea, and sky 🌿🌊🍷

Why Jesse Hall's Seawolf Wines are a perfect blend of North Coast surf culture, family roots, and organic wine making.

At Seawolf, everything we do starts with the ocean.

Surfing teaches us patience, respect for nature, and the rhythm of the seasons—lessons we carry straight into the vineyard. Our approach to farming is organic, guided by the same belief that nature already knows what it’s doing if we’re willing to listen.

From wave to vine to bottle, our wines are made with minimal intervention, native fermentations, and a deep respect for the land. Natural winemaking isn’t a trend for us—it’s simply the most honest way we know how to share where we come from.

Salt in the air, dirt on our hands, and wine in the glass.

This is Seawolf. 🌊🍇🍷

The SEAWOLF Wines story in two newspapers in one week.

Thank you to Sarah Doyle for writing an amazing piece about our boutique winery in Yorkville Highlands Mendocino, the gateway into Anderson Valley and the Mendocino coast. Our natural approach to organic farming and low intervention winemaking combined with our passion for surfing on the North Coast was beautifully illustrated.
