The sheep and the shepherds have been hiding away from the summer sun (which is why there is a lack of updates). But while the updates have been slow the lambs growth has not been! They are 4 months old now (can you spot a mommy hiding in the herd and a proud dad lurking in the background). Also look at the babies lush wool 😍, I can wait to shear them in the spring!

These two brother roosters are looking for a flock of their own. They are friendly and reliable crowers. Approximately 2 years old and have been kept together. Father is a silkie and mother is a stray hen that wander in the farm, laid eggs, and left. PM to discuss 💵.

So, it's official. Kirby Farms has had its first ever lambs! Here they are at 3 days old with Mom experiencing fresh green grass for the first time!
