Grilled Steak with Caramelized Onions & Fries 🍟
Ingredients (Serves 2)
2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)
2 large onions (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp sugar
Salt and pepper (to taste)
2 large potatoes (cut into fries)
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp garlic powder
Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the fries:
Toss potato fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 25-30 mins, flipping halfway.
Caramelize the onions:
Heat butter in a skillet, add onions and sugar. Cook on low heat for 20-25 mins, stirring occasionally, until golden and sweet.
Grill the steak:
Season steaks with salt and pepper. Grill to desired doneness (3-5 mins per side for medium-rare). Let rest for 5 mins.
Serve:
Slice steak, top with caramelized onions, and serve with crispy fries. Garnish with parsley.
