Hey IG 👋🏽 it’s been a second! I just wanted to say thank you for everyone’s support throughout this time. I’m not sure how to make this post but as you noticed I have been very quiet. Since my surgery in January I developed new, and life threatening vascular compressions, I have been just fighting to stay alive and function to be honest. I will be traveling to Germany this week for an attempt at a surgery to hopefully save my life. I am not sure when I will be back up and running again but I am really hoping this is the answer I’ve been waiting for and can heal and get back to serving you all the best quality, sparkly treats you can get! 🤍✨

Happy ! 💗 I know I have been MIA again. As many of you know I had major surgery the beginning of the year out of state, as I suffer with a number of chronic and rare illnesses such as MALS. I thought I would be back to business by Valentine’s Day but when you fix one vascular compression others usually get worse. I had four tears in my arteries from all the damage, I had to have a ligament and my nerves cut out. I’m so happy to say this was a success, however my kidney is not doing well at all now due to another compression. I plan on donating my left kidney as soon as I can this year and I hope after this surgery I can really grow KCC to be what I want her to be! Thank you to all my loyal and understanding customers, I’m so grateful for you all! Easter menu will be up soon, what’re you hoping to see at our markets and retail locations?! ☺️💗

I was afraid to post this since it clearly goes against my IG aesthetic but I think it’s time I start to talk more about my other passion- advocating for rare illnesses! I spent the majority of January in Stamford, CT to have a major open operation done for a condition called MALS. I was born with my diaphragm sitting too low, resulting in a ligament wrapping around my celiac artery and cutting off blood flow to major organs such as my spleen anytime I would eat or exercise. This led to over a decade of tests with empty answers for the most part. I joined a rare disease group back in 2021 and that’s how I found out about MALS. It does not show up on normal testing but sure enough it showed I had a major compression of the artery when they looked into it. There are also three other abdominal vascular compressions that exist that I will mention more as well and while I’m sure a majority (if any) of my followers have heard of this which is exactly why I want to get the word out about rare illnesses and how much they effect someone. I actually ended up having four separate tears in different arteries from all the damage and I’m very grateful I got treatment in time. I’m always here to advocate and listen and help others navigate the rare illness community as well! 🤍

One whole year of chocolates 🥳✨ incredibly thankful for each and every person who has supported us this past year. A delayed anniversary giveaway will be posted when I get back as well! Just a reminder I am traveling out of state for major abdominal surgery this weekend and will be back the end of January. Thank you to everyone who ordered, stopped out at markets and supported us this holiday season! I am so grateful for each and every one of you ☺️ 250 lbs of chocolate later and we are wrapping up our season!! Online ordering is off and I will be making announcements when I will start accepting orders again. I will be traveling out of state January 2nd to have life-saving open abdominal vascular surgery and will be back at the end of January. I will not be responding to DM’s or e-mails during this time and will make more announcements when it gets closer! Thank you for all the understanding and support ❤️
