Yesterday our last doe finally kidded. She gave us one big, beautiful buck. And that wraps up the 2024 spring kidding season 🐐

First day of milking 5 does. Phoebe (in the picture) somehow let her babies out of their barn last night, we had decided to dry Anna and then changed our mind and we had 2 first time milkers. So output wasn’t all there but all in all it was a great first day. Looking forward to the milk provided that we’re able to get right here at home ❤️

Molasses had 3 babies on Friday! 2 doelings and a buckling. We’re down to waiting on our last doe to kid for this season.

Phoebe gave us 2 more bucklings this morning. So our count for this year so far has been doelings: 3 bucklings: 4

We came out this morning to find our third kidding of the season. Monica gave us 3 babies, 2 bucklings and a doeling! I guess for the next 3 we just need to head out at 5am and sit and wait 🤷‍♀️

Kidding season has officially begun! Today Dustin went out to feed the goats and found these two. Both sweet doelings, one is even blue eyed 🩷🩷
