The man, the myth, the legend, Mr. Donnie Thompson. Originally from Knightdale, NC, Donnie started this business in 1987 after working alongside his father since he was old enough to walk. A devoted husband and loving father, Donnie dedicated his life to providing for his family the best way he knew how, through hard work and determination. He made a name for himself in central NC, competing against large corporations, through his honesty and skill. In May 2023, Donnie had some health concerns and decided to retire, hoping to spend more time fishing and restoring antique cars.
Donnie’s grandson, Lee Chamblee Jr., has since taken over alongside his wife, Payton Chamblee. Born and raised in Wake County, Lee served for 6 years in the North Carolina Army National Guard and completed one deployment in the Middle East. He works full time with the fire department as a lieutenant, and spends his days off maintaining the business and spending time with his family. He’s the man you’ll meet when we come to your home.
Payton works behind the scenes, scheduling appointments and filing paperwork. A stay-at-home mom, you might hear their 11 month old son in the background during a phone call.
