MICHIGAN APPLES!

We have our first variety of Michigan apples in the store. It's called RAVE it is a Honey Crisp apple crossed with an earlier variety to get a Honey Crisp type of apple earlier in the season. RAVE is a very crisp and juicy apple. Sweetly tart. It is not recommended for baking pies as it does not hold together very well but is great for apple sauce or just eating. Half peck bags are $5.49, Peck baskets are $9.00, Half bushels baskets are $15.00 and full bushels are $28.00.

MICHIGAN CANNING TOMATOES !

The canning tomatoes continue to be very nice and are still plentiful.

Canning tomatoes are $17.99 for approximately a half bushel box. We can also get Roma tomatoes for the same price. We do not normally have Romas all the time so if you want some it would be best to call the farm at 734-482-8538 and order them so we have them when you want them. You can also place orders for the regular canners to make sure we save them for you in case there is a run on them.

The canning tomatoes we have for this weekend are BEAUTIFUL. Wait beautiful isn't a good enough description. Let's go with STUPENDOUS. That's not quite good enough either. BEAUTIFULLY STUPENDOUS. There that's it. These are possibly the best canning tomatoes we have ever seen.

MICHIGAN PEACHES!

Unfortunately due to the bad weather in the spring our peach sources do NOT have any extra peaches to sell us. Our efforts to find some have failed so it looks like we will not have any Michigan peaches this season unless we get some sort of Christmas miracle. We do have quarts of peaches already canned in the store for you to purchase. They are highly recommended by us as we like them a lot. The canned pears are good as well.

ROWES FARM MARKET OPENS ON SATURDAY JULY 25 10 am to 4 pm!

The hours for the 2026 season are Monday through Friday 11 am to 6 pm. Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.

We will start picking our world famous Bi-color Sweet Corn starting on Saturday. We do not recommend freezing this early variety as there will be better varieties down the road soon.

WE DO HAVE SUGAR SNAP AND ENGLISH SHELLING PEAS TO PICK.

This will be the last weekend to pick peas in 2026.

We will be open on Saturday June 27th and Sunday June 28th from 8 am to 4 pm both days.

We have a New patch of both kinds of peas to pick in on Saturday.

The price of both kinds of peas are the same:
$44.00 per bushel
$24.00 per half bushel
$14.00 per peck
$2.50 per pound

If you do not have bushels or pecks to pick in you can rent them from us for a $5.00 deposit each and after we see the measurement we can dump the peas in a bag and take the deposit off the bill or you can keep the basket. Try to have the deposit money in cash as it speeds up check in. There will be a one dollar fee to use a credit card for the deposits.

WE ALSO HAVE 24 oz. JARS OF RAW HONEY FROM THE HIVES ON OUR FARM AVAILABLE AT THE CHECKOUTS.

There will be a $2.00 fee added to all final purchases using a card of any type. (Google pay, Apple pay, Credit, Debit, etc.)

WE DO HAVE SUGAR SNAP AND ENGLISH SHELLING PEAS TO PICK.

We will be CLOSED on Monday June 22 through Friday June 26. We are reopening for pea picking on Saturday June 27 at 8 am to 4 pm and Sunday June 28 8 am to 4 pm. We should have new patches of both kinds of peas ready to pick on the 27 th.

It is unclear if the 28 th will be the last day or not. Look for a new post on the 28 th.

Our hours are 8 am to 4pm but you must be at the farm by 3:30 to pick until 4, we will close the front door at 3:30.

WE DO HAVE SUGAR SNAP AND ENGLISH SHELLING PEAS TO PICK.

UNFORTUNATELY THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN OUR HOURS FOR WEDNESDAY, WE WILL NOW BE CLOSED ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 17TH.
THE HOURS THIS WEEK ARE TUESDAY JUNE 16 - 8 am to 4 pm. WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY WE WILL BE CLOSED. FRIDAY, SATURDAY AND SUNDAY - 8 am to 4 pm.

Picking continues to be great. If you are in a spot that seems picked over move a little and you should find tons.

There is scattered rain predicted for Tuesday afternoon so if that occurs we may have to close early. Any day we get rain we may close as we do not stay open with lightning in the area.
