Between life changes and moving, we have been a little AWOL. However, today I ask you... What do you get when you combine barley, water, yeast, Polaris Hops, and Cranberry?

We got a British Brown Ale cooking in the fermentor at 1.056 OG. (Second attempt after spoiled yeast killed the first batch)

It should be ready in about two weeks which bring us to the point: I am currently taking suggestions for the name! Comment below with your best name for our first Brown Ale (you might just get a shout out in the newsletter)

Are we changing oil? Making coffee? No, we’re cooking up a special brew in Starkweather Stout!

Our hybridized imperial stout is sweet, rich, heavy hitting, but with a dryer finish with a touch of bitterness. Equal parts of Roasted Barley and Biscuit Malt round this brew out for a pillowy body with a sharp edge. Coming soon to 4-packs near you!

Happy National Beer Day!
On this day in 1933 the Cullen-Harrison Act, signed by FDR, went into effect. This act allowed for the production of Beer up to 4% ABV (Alcohol by Volume).

This put an end to the period of “near beer” and marked the beginning of the end of prohibition.

Upon signing the act, President Roosevelt remarked “I think this would be a good time for a beer."

Years later we celebrate this moment and echo his sentiment, so kick back and have a beer! Call it celebrating history, patriotism, or whatever you need to say. Right now is a good time for a beer!

Cheers!

Believe it or not, despite the current weather, St. Patrick's Day is just 13 days away. Here at RBC we take St. Patrick's Day seriously and want each and every one of YOU to celebrate with a pint of our 1916 Irish Stout.

Brewed in the same vein as Guinness, 1916 is a classic Irish stout. It is jet black, with a tan, creamy head. It is rich with roasted barley notes and a dry finish that demands another drink. True to the style, 1916 comes in at a quaffable 4.8% ABV.

Newsletters, along with a complimentary 4-pack, will be available NEXT weekend (3/12/23) and are available for purchase at the cost of $10.

St. Andrew’s Ale is officially out! Our take on a Scottish export ale, this 5.5% abv brew is dripping with deep caramelized malt flavors balanced with noble hop bitterness to leave a light richness on the tongue.

Also, shout out to Steve Day for repping RBC in Belize! Does that make us an international company now? 🤔
