Buyer Beware!
Thousands of people getting infected with cyclosporia - a microscopic bacteria - from salad greens. The majority of cases are in Michigan but could easily spread. Prevention is priceless!
I understand Taylor Foods is named and their company's greens are found EVERYWHERE - Fast Food Restaurants, Big Box Stores etc. They are the supplier for many different companies so we might not even know we are eating their product.

At home I use 1 Tbs H202 (hydrogen peroxide) in a sink full of water for 15 - 20 min. to annihilate these guys (parasites, bacteria etc.) Grapefruit Seed Extract is another Favorite of mine. I often carry that one with me and use proactively.
Do you use something to remove bacteria and parasites from your produce? If so please share what you use. No links please.
