Spent the better part of the morning blueberry picking at The Blueberry Ranch since our bushes on the farm refuse to produce. Then a former neighbor offered free pick your own peaches! Spent the afternoon making blueberry peach cobbler... Summer on a dish! Tomorrow I will be making more blueberry basil jam for the store. 😊

The pups are officially two weeks old! It amazes me every time when they are at this stage that they go from squirming gerbils to little dogs that are sitting up and staring me in the eye overnight! Eyes are opening (some of the sable merles look like they will have at least one blue eye) and are mobile! They start getting their first taste of wet food this week! I discovered something when taking a picture of the litter yesterday - there are actually eight pups! Gabby had her first pup (the boy tri "Norm") at around 5 PM Saturday and her last pup around 5 AM Sunday, so I think I must have dozed off and she popped out another when I was asleep. I was taking the picture of the litter and was thinking "three tris on the left four sables on the right... wait - FIVE sables?" Yep, eight pups! Here they are! Details in the comments. Enjoy!
