After many months of discussion and more tears than we'd like to admit, we've made the difficult decision to find May a new home.
May is a beautiful 3½-year-old Charolais cow, an exceptional mother, and a cherished member of our family. She knows her name, is gentle, and is exposed to our bull, with a calf expected in late summer. She loves to give kisses you can lay on her and suntan in the summer.
Please understand, May is not "dinner." We are looking for a loving, respectful home where she will be appreciated and cared for.
We're not in a rush, and finding the right home is far more important than making a quick sale.

We would love to see several of these ladies go together! We currently have quality Dexter cow/calf pairs available from gentle, proven mothers with excellent maternal instincts. All respect their fences, have been around children, and are easy to work with. Their calves are sired by our registered Dexter bulls, and all cows have been exposed back to the bull, making it almost like getting three for the price of one—a great mama cow, the calf at her side, and the potential for next year's calf already in the making.
