The kittens are getting bigger every day! They're starting litter box training today, enjoying some fresh air, and will be moving to wet food very soon.
Three of them are already spoken for, and we're soaking up all the kitten snuggles while we still can. ❤️
Life at Just 1 More Ranch is never boring… one minute it's cows, goats, gardens, and berry bushes, and the next minute it's tiny paws and kitten chaos!

Apparently ignoring an ankle injury for 3-4 months was NOT my brightest idea. 😂

After my husband finally forced me to get it checked out, the MRI basically said, "Ma'am… your ankle is trashed."

Three torn tendons in multiple locations and who knew I've had quite a few sprained ankles that have not healed. One tendon isn't even attached anymore. 😳

But, as a typical rancher and the stubborn woman that I am, I decided surgery can wait until fall because who has time for that right now?

Today we planted all the blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry bushes 80% of the gardens finished. 3 blackberry 1 raspberry 4 blueberry bushes. We're going to plant the peach trees another day! Animal chores still happen every day and the ranch keeps moving forward.

Would I recommend my decision-making skills? Absolutely not.

Would I do it all over again? Probably. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

Everything is slowly coming together here at Just 1 More Ranch, even if the owner is held together with stubbornness, duct tape, and questionable life choices. 🫐🌱🐄

🐄🌞 Just 1 More Ranch Update 🌞🐐

Turkeys and kids are growing up fast!
We're adding a new swimming pool and working hard on the foundation for summer fun, and everyone is enjoying the warm weather. Rotational grazing is working great, and the cows are fat and happy.
The kids are learning new skills every day, and all the babies around the ranch are absolutely adorable and growing so fast.
We're constantly growing, changing, and improving the ranch as we go. Sometimes plans change, and sometimes we're just a little indecisive, but that's okay because we're a team and it always works out in the end.
We have cows for sale now, with steers coming soon. The working corral is almost finished so we can work the calves and band them to become future steers. DINNER TIME
We also have an amazing deal available on pairs..... (3 animals total), and the moms have already been bred back.
Life is busy, messy, and beautiful out here, and we wouldn't have it any other way. ❤️
