Enjoying a little bourbon while smoking some rib tips covered with bourbon molasses rub then finished off with bourbon peach bbq sauce. These rib tips were super sweet and sticky 🤤. Paired with a chopped kale salad and cauliflower mashed potatoes that my amazing sister turned me on to.

Some Independence Day treats going out to the coworkers. Red white and blue cake rolls with cream cheese frosting filling and crack, AKA caramel snickerdoodle bars.

Pulled pork tacos with spicy coleslaw. 9ish total hours from start to finish but do worth it 🤤. First time using the cherry cola rub, really like it. The sweetness paired with the spicy coleslaw just works.

When your Irish heritage Saint Patrick’s Day birthday daughter requests Irish shepherd’s pie and her favorite cake you enlist the help of sissy to get it done. This carrot cake batter is always a lot so this time I reserved some and also made a carrot cake cheesecake with a biscotti crust.

Who needs to go to a restaurant for an amazing breakfast bowl? Certainly not me! Two eggs whipped with milk and seasoned with The Gospel, scrambled and topped with bacon, green chili chicken breakfast sausage, white cheddar, avocado, a dollop of sour cream, and hot salsa.

Funfetti cupcakes topped with candy melts dinosaurs and pink fairy dust for Olivia the birthday girl and her class. Not that a bunch of four year ones will really care, but these cupcakes came out really nice. Moist, not overly sweet, and visually appealing.

I’ve been slacking, I know. Seasoned mashed potatoes, Black Forest ham, and white cheddar cheese enveloped in puff pastry sheets and baked to golden perfection. Easy delicious dinner.
