Wow! We would like to sincerely thank everyone who expressed interest, bid, and purchased in tonight’s sale!

The interest and support surrounding this set of cattle was truly incredible, and we couldn’t be more appreciative. These cattle are headed to 14 different states and into some of the best homes in the country. We’re excited to follow along and see what the future holds for them!

Raising a steer that wins any state fair in the country is so hard it is incomprehensible. But to win the South Dakota State Fair is such an honor! This steer makes it extra special as he was born 13 days early on cornstalks, and I found him at 5:30am when it was -13! I told Courtney after I threw him in the pickup that morning as he was covered in ice, “I think I just found the best calf we’ve ever raised!” Luckily he survived that morning and got to live in the house for the first couple days of his life and earned the name “Buddy” from our 2 year old! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in getting this steer to multiple backdrops!!
