💥🩷 BOUJEE BARNYARD EXPLOSION UPDATE! 🩷💥

Okay, okay... we know we just bombarded everyone with a bunch of posts. 😂

But we've been BUSY the last few weeks getting everything prepared, so consider this the final Boujee Barnyard Explosion Update!
We're still here, we promise. We've simply been working behind the scenes creating a brighter future for our breeding birds, our animals, and our customers.
One thing we've learned during this expansion? Nobody is behaving. 🤦‍♀️
🐐 The goats are eating the chicken feed. 🐔 The chickens are eating the goat feed. 🐐 The goats moved into the chicken house. 🐔 The chickens moved into the goat house.
Apparently nobody received their assignment memo.
To keep everyone healthy and avoid finding eggs laid in the goat house, we've temporarily separated the goats and poultry until the baby goats find their new homes and the adult goats head out to pasture.
Once that happens, we'll be making a few simple modifications that will make a huge difference. The chicken coop door will be moved, an automatic coop door will be installed, and portions of the run will be redesigned to better support our long-term breeding goals.
That's the reality of building a farm and breeding program. You grow, you learn, you make adjustments, and you keep improving.
Every change we're making today is helping create a better setup for our animals and a stronger future for Boujee Barnyard.
The future is bright, the plans are exciting, and we're just getting started. ✨
Thank you all for following along and supporting our little farm as we continue to grow.

Blisters and all, Natalie got her beautiful new run put together! 💪🔨🐔
What started as a vision is becoming reality, and the animals are absolutely loving their new outdoor space. Watching them explore makes every sore muscle and blister worth it.
A huge thank you to her husband for building an awesome custom door for the run! It turned out amazing and was the perfect finishing touch to this project. 🚪✨
Now it's time for this hardworking mama to take a much-needed family vacation. 🌴☀️❤️ After countless hours of building, planning, feeding, cleaning, and caring for all the critters, she has definitely earned it!
Building a business from the ground up is not for the weekend heart. Our future is bright 🌞

✨💅 BOUJEE BARNYARD UPDATE! 💅✨
Boss Bitch Natalie has been BUSY! 🔨🐔🦆🐐🐷
The first section of our giant outdoor run is officially complete, and the animals are loving every minute of it! They've been outside exploring, running, scratching, playing, and checking out their new boujee digs.
And this is only the beginning! The plan is to eventually wrap the run all the way around the coop, creating the ultimate Boujee Barnyard paradise for all of our spoiled farm babies. 🩷✨
A huge shoutout to Natalie for bringing this vision to life. The long hours, hard work, determination, and countless trips for supplies are finally paying off, and it looks AMAZING.

The chickens approve. 🐔
The ducks approve. 🦆
The geese approve. 🪿
The turkeys approve. 🦃
The goats approve. 🐐
The mini pigs approve. 🐷

Honestly, everyone at Boujee Barnyard is giving it a 10/10 review! 😂💕

Drop some love for Natalie because this Boujee Queen is making big things happen one project at a time! 👑✨

Boujee Barnyard PSA:

Nobody warns you that when your chickens have bougie bell-bottom feet… eventually somebody snaps a blood feather and suddenly we’re running an emergency poultry spa & trauma center. 💅🐔

Today’s patient received: • VIP towel service

• Emergency feather extraction
• Compression therapy
• Purple antiseptic couture
• Private recovery suite for observation

The tiny bougie floof survived the incident and is now on crate rest for a few days.
Having fancy feathered feet is not for the weak!

Boujee Barnyard update 🪿💕
Two beautiful goose parents welcomed their first baby, Marilyn. She hatched all alone, perfectly healthy… but of course Allison couldn’t let her stay lonely, so she got a best friend and future husband named DiMaggio. 😂
Then came the Sebastopol goose eggs… and wow, they humbled us fast. Goose hatching has been a whole lesson in patience, grace, and heartbreak. Out of the whole batch, only one little gosling pipped. We spent days researching, stressing, and asking ourselves the hardest hatcher question — when do you step in and when do you let nature take over?
Natalie finally stepped in after the gosling had dried and started fading. We first tried the ICU box with friends, hoping comfort would help, but it was clear that wasn’t going to fix things. So back into the ICU incubator she went for days. Crooked neck, weak legs, messed up foot, hand-fed vitamins, constant monitoring… it was touch and go.
Then “Super Grandma” stepped in for daily care duty. ❤️
After a week of nonstop love, attention, and care, this little fighter is now walking, eating, and finally graduated into the brooder with friends.
Round 2 has us absolutely on edge, but one thing we’ve learned is this: hatching geese is HARD. Every tiny life feels like a miracle

Goose eggs are scientifically harder to hatch than chicken eggs because the shells are thicker, incubation is longer (around 30 days), and the embryos require higher oxygen exchange as they grow. Many breeders cool and lightly mist goose eggs daily to mimic a mother goose leaving the nest wet after swimming.
Humidity balance is critical — too high and the air cell stays too small, too low and the gosling can become trapped during hatch. Sebastopol geese are also known for lower fertility and hatch rates compared to many poultry breeds.
Boujee Barnyard currently has 2 strong developing eggs and 2 we’re still monitoring closely. 🪿🥚
