More egg talk today. Look at this baby egg! I think first one for one of my ladies. Look at the size versus a quarter and to compare chicken eggs to duck eggs.

Our baby chicks are starting to lay eggs. When they first lay they are small nuggets but they get bigger. Here are some size and color differences for you.

I don't wash eggs until we eat them as they will last longer that way.

We moved the babies to the big chick coop. So thought I would introduce our flock.

The dynamic of the ducks has changed since our drake passed. Daisy (white duck) sticks by Dahlia's (the black and white duck) side. Dahlia is nesting on nonfertile eggs at the moment so not in this video. However, Dahlia has never been one to get in the pools. So since the drake died, Daisy hasn't gotten in the big pool we put in there. I bought this little thing hoping maybe Dahlia would like it. Thankfully Daisy does!

Bailey makes some interesting sounds. Listen carefully. Plus goats are just cute.
