Just a tad late….but wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope 2026 brings peace, joy and prosperity to all 🎊🍾
Although we have been away from the public eye for several months now, I think it important to know that we appreciate all the love and support you have given us and we will never take that for granted.
When we stepped back, I knew it wouldn’t go completely away. As a matter of fact, we have been quite busy behind the scenes with small projects. One of them being to learn and perfect my sausage making skills. Although sausage seems quite basic, there is a lot to it and opens the door for creativity (which I enjoy!). Sausage making is foremost a science. When working with spices and cures, one wrong move can ruin the whole thing. There is a process to it, data driven and consistency is king.
I am proud to say I recently took the first baby step and made my own Bratwurst specifically for our New Year’s Day dinner. And the results were 🔥. Could it be better? Absolutely. But it wasn’t a complete failure. So I’ll consider it a win.
I can see many more special recipes in my future and I can’t wait to do more. Once I have more time under my belt, I will definitely share with everyone. I might even need to recruit some unbiased taste testers to help dial things in.
In the meantime, let me know if you or anyone you know have experience with Craft Sausage making. It’s a great way to share experiences and techniques that can only help us all improve. Maybe this will open the door for other future opportunities 🤔🤠
