Nothing is official and we’re not making any commitments—we’re simply gathering information and seeing what’s possible.

13 years, 4 kids, approximately 47 million sports practices, a farm, a whole lot of dirt, chaos, laughter, and somehow Chris still puts up with my “just one more flower order” ideas. 😂🌸

Well friends… this one felt pretty special 🥹

This week Forty Four Farms delivered 105 hanging baskets to the annual downtown hanging basket program with Main Street Cambridge and I still can’t quite believe we got to be part of it.

105 baskets packed full of the prettiest petunias and flowering annuals we’ve been growing and caring for over the last several months 🌸

And honestly… this one feels extra meaningful to me personally. I grew up in Woodsfield, but my grandpa Mike was born and raised in Cambridge (Dogtown shoutout 👏) and we spent a huge part of our weekends here growing up(who remembers the soft pretzels at Hills?) So getting to bring flowers into a town that holds so many memories for our family just feels really special. I know my Pappy would’ve been absolutely over the moon about this.

Huge thanks to Cambridge Main Street for taking a chance on our little family farm for such a big project. It honestly means so much to us.

Also shoutout to my husband Chris and my dad Don for turning into full blown engineers/tech guys figuring out how in the world to efficiently fit, stack, haul, and unload 105 hanging baskets without complete catastrophe 😂

And to our kids… who absolutely sweat their butts off helping plant, water, move baskets, load trailers, and probably complain about it at least a little 😅 this was such a labor of love and such an amazing learning opportunity for all of us.

Now we can’t wait to drive through downtown Cambridge and watch them grow all summer long - any excuse to go get some Kennedy’s tea cookies 💐

Sidenote/ we went to Downtown Arena for dinner. The food was exceptional and the service was great! Poe and Elodie highly recommend the Mac n cheese, and Huck said his quesadillas were amazing.

Has anyone else had this horrendous virus going around? The one where it feels like you swallowed razor blades, your head is in a fishbowl, and you’re mouth breathing so hard you sound like you’re snoring when you breath? 🫠 I’m officially dubbing it Throat-vid.

Well, I was down for the count for half the week, but I finally feel human again… so naturally I celebrated by picking peonies this morning 🌸
