What a weekend. It was too hot to be cooking!! lol! But it was done. Anna gave it her all in between her other obligations. She got pig going left to go feed friends dogs, pigs and goats. She was running all night going back and forth. She picked me up at 4:30 this morning and went back to finish up. Not sure if something she will want to continue but maybe here and there. She finished in 7th and they said that was good with her first competion. Some fun and good fellowship was had with friends beside us. Not much time to mingle to meet many new friends but maybe another day. So congrats to Anna/Michael for 7th and Preston/Haley came in 3rd!

Hello friends!! Just a little update. The Brown’s have decided to try a little expansion from Browns Barbecue to see if the rest of us enjoy this cooking stuff!! lol 😂 Ole Bird Dog Barbecue, est. 9/18/26 with chief cook being Anna B!! We will be cooking and competing against other teams at the Middlesex Fireman’s Day. We wish all those competing the best of luck and look forward to the fun and fellowship. Be sure to go out Saturday and support the Middlesex Fire Department as they will be chopping all bbq cooking and selling plates, sandwiches, bbq pints and slaw pints.
