I want to start out by introducing myself! My name is Cara Rasmussen, and I am a brand spanking new consultant for Thermomix (aka “Bimby”). I am also a mom and full time++ working professional who VALUES healthy living.
I recently returned home from a spectacular trip to Italy where a friend of mine introduced me to her ”Bimby”. Now - let me just tell you…while in Italy I had MANY FABULOUS experiences that not many ordinary visitors do and for that I will be forever thankful and grateful. Hellooooo….live, PRIVATE symphony AT the Colosseum (at night…!!) hosted by Paolo Vivaldi!!!🤩
That said, a couple of nights before I was scheduled to leave that beautiful country my dear friend suggested we stay home and have a quick dinner of minestrone soup. In my ignorant American mind, I instantly thought of a can of Progresso minestrone soup…ok!! Sounds good to me!! To my surprise, she went to her refrigerator and started pulling out fresh produce….wait WHAT!? 😳I watched for a second…and then had to ask what she was doing! I KNEW we were both EXHAUSTED!!
“You’re MAKING minestrone soup…(?!),” I’m fairly certain I shouty questioned her! 😂 My friend, the very proper Italian, said to me, “Bella, it’s what is done in Italy…we eat fresh food here”. 🥰🥰 Mmmmmmk….[in my brain thinking THIS is NOT a quick process, but I do love fresh food AND I LOVE to see how REAL life works in countries that I visit!]. THIS was the exact moment she introduced me to her MAGICAL kitchen appliance called Bimby - unassuming, just sitting on the countertop in the corner of her kitchen (approximately the size of a kitchen aid mixer) that I now firmly BELIEVE should be in every single home - including my own…forever and ever!
How in THE world had I never heard of this technology!?!? To say I was blown away is an understatement. Evidently, these machines are in MANY homes throughout Europe because of how multi-functional it is while not having a large footprint…it’s ridiculously COOL! AND it has JUST been introduced into the US market as Thermomix - same tech, same company…different name.
Back to the soup 🤣… Our FRESH, homemade minestrone with fagioli was done and ON the table in 20 mins topped with a drizzle of olive oil made from from the OLIVE TREES in my friend’s garden - never once used the stovetop, oven, or any other dishes except the ones we ate out of. My friend then proceeded to WOW me by making homemade mini tiramisus for dessert in less than 10 minutes - in the Thermomix.
…and I’m vegan - did I eat it you ask ….. HECK YESSS!!! 🤤 I’m with my dear friend IN HER HOME IN ITALY!! Yes. I . Did. And I LOVED it all so much!! Literally…when in Rome, right!? 😜
Like a dorky tourist, I took video of her making our meal too!! 🫣🤣 bahhhahaaa!!!
You guys…this appliance has an app with over 88,000 recipes of all kinds - Cookidoo. The app interfaces with the Thermomix (Bimby). You find and schedule your recipes for the week, or you can find them in the moment if you wish…and the app sends the recipe TO the machine and literally walks you through STEP-BY-STEP how to make this recipe…. You can also send the ingredients to your shopping list and then to instacarte or Shipt or whatever delivery service you might use!
The Thermomix chops, dices, shaves, steams, PEELS, WEIGHS, heats, KNEADS, soux vide’s, COOKS, blends, mixes, and fully PREPARES FULL MEALS without dirtying an unnecessary number of dishes. And it’s lightning FAST! Oh…and it cleans itself too!! [[It’s ALSO dishwasher safe if you prefer😉]] …pretty sure I’ve already mentioned it’s MAGICAL…believe me yet!?
There is no kitchen that wouldn’t benefit from a Thermomix!!

TRUST ME!! You will not regret owning one of these…unless, of course, you LOVE doing dishes; you love carving out TIME to prepare HEALTHY meals for you or your family after a LONG day at work…while also trying to prepare for the next day, negotiate extra-curriculars, and help with homework; you LOVE eating fast food or packaged foods; you love stressing out over the disgusting CRAP that’s in an all of our foods today but have few other quick and easy options; available; and you’re an absolute glutton for punishment!! 😜
