Just spent an hour and a half chasing two cows through three fields. Sometimes being a farmer is the most frustrating and stressful thing you could ever go through. Right now we are thanking God that no one got hurt, the cows are back where they need to be (on their way to the butcher...) and that we have the greatest friends and family to help us out! Thanks Tristan Gruppen, Jim Gruppen and Drew Kooiker! You guys are amazing!!
On a brighter note, dad’s new gator is a lot of fun going through the mud... 😉 it’s hard to see, but that’s me, covered in mud from head to foot.

From now until December 30th we are having a Christmas pork sale! We have whole or half pigs available. The butcher date has been set for January 4, so you can pick out your own cuts of meat. What says Merry Christmas more than some bacon??

What you are seeing here is an attempt to fish out a coyote in the wood pile. My dad is the one with the gun and Ethan is driving the track loader. Both of these things are enough to give me heart palpitations, but I'm so grateful for a dad who will drop everything to come and help when we need it!
We didn't get it unfortunately and I'm thinking it's time for some lessons on shooting a gun. Yikes!
