There’s been a lot going on, so I haven’t gotten around to posting about Buttercup. We were gone last weekend, so we were very thankful that she waited till we were home and kidded on Monday. She’s never had trouble kidding, but this time her twins were all tangled up and we needed vet assistance. Mom and babies are doing great!

We woke up this morning to Erin with her babies. Erin was one of the babies from our first kidding season in 2016. She’s a stubborn and hearty goat. And she’s always a great mom. Current baby count is 6. Nice and manageable. ❤️

And Lucy kidded today. Another set of triplets. They all look just like her. More complications with tangled up kids. So the vet was out again…Everyone seems ok tonight. That’s 6 does kidding in 7 days. Only one more to go.

Busy day over here! Clover had twins. She wasn’t progressing, so the vet ended up coming out and had to pull the babies. They were all tangled up. So Clover had a rough day. While we were tending to Clover after work, Buttercup decided it was a beautiful day to kid outside. She had twins as well. Everyone is safe in the barn tonight.
