The longest day of the year just told us summer is officially open for business, and so are we! ☀️🌿 The lawn is set, the chairs are waiting, and the vineyard is looking especially good right now.

Pull up a seat, enjoy a glass, and let Yakima Valley do the rest — the only thing missing is you!

Happy Father’s Day to the “Pat-riarch” of our operation. 🍷

Over the years, Pat has shared plenty of wisdom, but a few lessons stand out:

Be kind.
Stay humble.
Keep asking questions.
And, of course, enjoy life—and wine.

Words worth living by.

Today, we celebrate Pat and all the fathers, grandfathers, mentors, and father figures who help shape our lives and communities.

Happy Father’s Day from all of us at Dineen Vineyards. We hope you enjoy a wonderful day with family, friends, and a glass of something special.

Visit wine country in wine country - in The Hills of the Yakima Valley🍷🌿

At Dineen Vineyards, great wine begins in the vineyard—our vineyard.

Spend the day surrounded by the vines that produce every bottle we make. Watch the next vineyard block take shape before your eyes, stroll among the rows, or simply relax with a glass of wine from a shady Adirondack chair overlooking the estate.

A wonderful evening sharing our wines at the Olympic Sculpture Park for the opening of Tee Up for SAM, the Seattle Art Museum’s brand-new artist-designed mini-golf course!

Art, wine, sunshine, and community—one of the many reasons we love summer in Seattle and the Northwest!

Grab your friends and family, explore the course, enjoy the waterfront views, and make a day of it. We’re honored to be part of this creative and uniquely Seattle experience.

The 2025 red blending season is officially underway! 🍷

This week, we began assembling our Heritage Red Blend, along with a special new project that won’t make its debut for another two years - code name Project 100.

Next up: our single-varietal reds, before finishing with our Vintner’s Blend.

There’s nothing quite like blending—tasting, discussing, ranking, refining, and imagining what these wines will become.

Once each blend is assembled, we’ll tuck the wines back into barrel for another year of aging, allowing the components to knit together before they’re ready for the bottle.

The future is tasting pretty good. Smiles and purple teeth all around.

Over the past couple of weeks, we’ve had the joy of watching this killdeer carefully tend to her eggs in the vineyard — and now they are finally hatching! 🐣🌿

We are so grateful to farm among a living ecosystem where vines, wildlife, and the rhythms of the land all coexist together. Moments like these make vineyard life especially meaningful. ✨

Nature truly is a wonder. 💚

Warm temperatures have arrived in The Hills of the Yakima Valley, and we’re pleased to share that bloom is underway at our estate. 🌿☀️

Cabernet Franc was the first to bloom, with our other varietals soon to follow in the weeks ahead. Each tiny flower brings us one step closer to the next vintage of Dineen Vineyards wines. 🍇🍷

So, what is bloom?

Bloom is the flowering stage of the grapevine, marking the transition from shoot and leaf growth to fruit development. It is one of the most beautiful and aromatic phases of the growing season, critical for determining quality and yield for the vintage ahead.

We’re encouraged by the progress in the vineyard and look forward to sharing more as the season unfolds. ✨

Thank you to Courtney Humiston and James Suckling.com for visiting us and tasting our wines. Thank you for the compliments! We are looking forward to the next visit already.

Just a few of the scores and comments. We can't wait to share these wines with our club and the general public. Thank you to Brian Mackey and Patrick Rawn for growing the grapes and making the wine - we get better with every vintage and your leadership is so important to all we do.
