🎉🎓VINCE! VINCE! VINCE!🎓🎉
Earlier this month, this guy graduated with his AAS in Vineyard & W**ery Technology from Yakima Valley College. And because a diploma apparently wasn't quite enough, Vince also gained a fiancée when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Kris, at his grad party!
What can we say about Vince? We asked the cellar team to describe him in their own words and basically all of them were NSFW so here's our version:
Born and raised in California, Vince is a first-generation college grad and the son of immigrants. He earned this degree while working full time and going to school full time, which basically tells you everything you need to know about him. Vince is part of our cellar crew (aka the Yeastie Boys), part of the next generation of w**e professionals, and part of what makes TMW the family we are. Vince shows up with curiosity, humor, and heart every day on the w**e farm, and we’re so proud of him. He’s also bringing first-gen, Mexican-American, trans excellence to the cellar, and honestly, the w**e industry is better for it. 🇲🇽🏳️⚧️
In all seriousness, since it’s Pride Month, we’ll say the gay part out loud: w**e is better when more people get to show up fully as themselves: in the cellar, in the vineyard, in leadership, and everywhere this industry is headed. Vince is part of that future, and we’re lucky he’s part of ours. Until he leaves us to start his own venture, that is. And then we'll be the first ones in line to buy his w**e. 🌈
