Elevate Personal Brand Some one hacked our page. We are Paradisos del Sol Winery and Organic Vineyard.

This is the true winery/vineyard/farm experience: grapes, fruits, vegetables, animals. We are a farmery (winery plus farm) located in the Rattlesnake Hills AVA within the Yakima Valley in Washington State just a few hours SE of Seattle.

Facebook hasn’t given our name back after being hacked a week plus ago.
It’s a challenging time for farmers in Washington and elsewhere.
Locally we are year four of water shortages and severe rationing.
We have an oversupply of most of our crops, or at least the price the farmer gets is below cost of production. Apples, pears, potatoes,grapes, wheat,…
1/3 to 1/2 of w**e grapes don’t have a home. Apples are losing money. Orchard blocks losing the most are being taken out and not replaced, the water being used where they will lose less money.
A lot of land out of production. When you see a wind machine, frost fan in a brown field? That was an orchard.

Well Facebook hasn’t bothered to fix our name.
PARADISOS DEL SOL WINERY AND ORGANIC VINEYARD
We are progressive farmers. We chose to enter a highly taxed and regulated production field.
We chose to have extra regulation from WSDA ORGANIC, but their standards are too low so we pay another fee for stricter standards to REAL ORGANIC.
We like our taxes spent for “the general welfare” as our country’s founding document states.
We are opposed to Russia attacking Ukraine, time for a new flag.
Yeah, one for Palestinians too.
Both are being brutalized.

Healthy soils have a lot of organic material. Plants make soil, without plants there are just particles of rock.
Fungi are part of the soil biome, using dead plants and creating symbiotic relationships with living ones.
Most of the fungi with large fruiting bodies like these are using a lot of decaying vegetation and many are associated with trees.
This fungus is associated with tree roots. Once this was cherry orchard.

Today’s Sign of Autumn
It takes a lot of work to get fruit ready for harvest.
In vineyards and orchards there is green pruning, removing some vegetation to get sunlight on the fruit.
Fruit in the shade doesn’t develop the flavors and color. Since visual appeal is the key to selling apples there is work to do!
Remove excess , then roll out reflective sheeting to bounce light back up through the canopy to hit all sides of the apple.
