Family farming has been in the Miller blood for well over 100 years. The cattle started out, as many did back in the day, with dairy cows. The end of the small, family dairy farmer era brought about a herd of commercial beef cows. In more recent years we have redirected our focus to developing a high quality herd of registered black angus cattle. During the past 4 years, the popularity of connecti

ng the farm directly to the consumer has been exciting! We love showing people where the meat they consume comes from and how it is raised. We primarily have processing dates booking in to the late summer and early fall months for 1/4's, 1/2's or whole beef. Reach out to fill your freezer with farm fresh meat and book your processing date!

Thank you all for your continued support and enthusiasm! It’s hard to believe that it’s been 15 years since we started our herd, and we are truly grateful for the community that has formed around our farm. The demand for direct farm-to-table access has been incredible, and it’s heartening to see so many people interested in knowing their farmers and understanding where their food comes from.

As we look ahead to the 2025 growing season, we encourage everyone to keep supporting local agriculture. Whether it’s signing up for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, stopping by a roadside stand for fresh eggs and vegetables, or visiting your local farmers market, every little bit helps. Together, we can continue to foster a vibrant local food system that benefits both producers and consumers.

Thank you for being a part of this journey with us! Let’s keep the momentum going and celebrate the amazing bounty our local farms have to offer.

Processing will be done at Grand Champion Meats in Foley. Comment below to reserve your date along with what size share you want (1/4, 1/2, etc.). If anyone has any questions, please don't hesitate to ask!

As always, we have hamburger on hand throughout the year.

October calving means it's time to put the bulls out with the cows. The cows are all out back, but Craig is able to call them up to the cow yard easily to be sorted into breeding groups. Look close to see the mass of black move through the fog this morning. They love him so much! (Of course, he IS the food man!)

Processed at McDonalds Meats in Clear Lake, USDA inspected. Pick up at our farm or I could meet within a reasonable distance (northern or northwest suburbs).

We are just 31 days away from Christmas dinner. If beef tops your menu, consider getting in on our December 5th processing dates to get your farm to table prime rib roast or beef tenderloin. There are only a few spots remaining!
