She has gained her experiences in cities like; New York City, San Francisco, Chicago, Austin and Indianapolis. Chef Emily has had a creative entrepreneurial spirit since as early as she can remember. Her experience started at P

urdue University where she got a bachelor's degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management with an emphasis in Restaurant Management. During her junior year at Purdue she spent a semester abroad in Florence, Italy which was where she decided she would enroll in a culinary program after Purdue. Emily enrolled in The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York and graduated in 2013. Since she graduated, Chef Emily has worked in various; Michelin Star restaurants, boutique and high volume catering companies and - meal prep and delivery services. She has also fulfilled a bucket list item of working for Food Network under famed Chefs such as; Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Anne Burrell, Alton Brown, Ted Allen, Jet Tilla, and more. Chef Emily's cooking style has been greatly influenced by the famed Anthony Bourdain. Emily’s passion for global travel has allowed her to learn about various cuisines around the world and recreate them in her own kitchen for the people she loves.

Brick Street Meals will be taking a summer vacation during the month of July.

I'll be spending a few weeks exploring Japan, eating incredible food, gathering inspiration, and expanding my culinary horizons. It's a trip I've been looking forward to for a long time, and I'm excited to bring fresh ideas back to Brick Street Meals.

We'll be taking a short break in July and returning in August refreshed, inspired, and ready for another season of great food.
