Caden had a pretty good show at the Goodhue County Fair. He won Senior Interviewer, Best in show with his senior doe Northwindtoggs GF Rhoxie and Reserve Junior Doe with his junior kid Northwindoes Olympic Hope. He also had the opportunity to compete in supreme showmanship and did well, learned some and had fun with his friends. Caden advanced to compete at the Minnesota State Fair 4H show next week!

We are so proud of the commitment this young lady had with her 4H dairy project. Her hard work paid off as she won Grand Champion and Reserve Champion overall at her county fair. It’s great to see our does doing the work they were bred to do! Good luck at the Minnesota State Fair 4H show!

No pictures taken by us and only have the few sent to us since we help with the show 🙂. It was a good day and a big competitive Togg show! We brought 20 does since we had Kayla’s help for the day! 10 seniors and 10 juniors! Congrats to Haley Pfeifer for her Sr BIS win and thank you for borrowing us your pump when ours died!! (Sorry Kurt photo bombed you🤦‍♀️)

Another June show in Bloomer, Wi.. We only showed one day in two rings. The weather was great, the show was well run and a great group of many new dairy goat farmers to meet!

Mid -MN Dairy Goat Show - Brainerd, MN
A bit behind on posting show results this season. We added a few more shows to the calendar since we didn’t attend the National Show this year. In June we headed to Brainerd, MN to the mid-MN Dairy Goat Club show and even picked up Emerald City goats/ Diana along the way! Great travels and good times and were had! A great group of exhibitors with plenty of love and hugs going around 😁.

Caden traveled to the Iowa Dairy Goat Association Spring Classic in Colfax Iowa June 6th and had a great time with great people. This is one of our favorite shows to attend and meet new Toggenburg breeders. The icing on the cake was Northwindtoggs GF Rhoxie winning BOB in 3 rings as a CC and Best in Show under Ben Rupchis!

We sailed through kidding season and came out with 5 does from 3 different sires. Many of the wethers went to 4H homes and the few bucklings we kept have been sold. We made some pretty exciting buck purchases to announce when we get a chance to do a photo op. Now onto show season. We had some exciting wins at the best of the Midwest show and will post them after we catch up on organizing show info! We had over 450 goats in attendance at the best of the Midwest MDGA state show and this picture sums up how we are feeling. Take your naps when you can!! More to come! (Pictured is Caden with CH Northwindoes Rhazs Paprika ~ 7yr 7F, Cadens 1st bred and owned out of his first ever personally owned doe “Pepper”). She was BOB Recorded Grade in 1 ring.

We and the does are excited to be done with this kidding season! We ended with a handful of does and a ton of buck kids. The kids are all growing well! We will only be keeping a few doe kids and will have a few to move to new homes eventually! Excited for warm weather to come and to see what’s under all that Togg fluff! More to come!
