WHO WE ARE
We are two sisters – Van Nguyen and Trang Nguyen which is me. We all graduated from Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted in the A Division which is all about Math, Physics, and Chemistry. Back in 2006, I went to study abroad with my major Chemical Engineering in the U.S. Then in 2008, Van, my little sister, followed my steps, going to the U.S to study Graphic Design. It might seem t
o you that our majors we chose have nothing to do with baking and cooking. Here are the root reasons that have drawn us to learn baking and create this site. We first set our feet in Los Angeles, California, full of palm trees fighting to survive in such a tough hot weather, reminding us to stay strong under any circumstances in our lives. Moreover, California has very diverse races which lead it to be the place of a wide range of great foods such as American, Mexican, Japanese, Korean foods. Thus, we really had a lot of great once-a-life chances to taste many kinds of food, especially American food. Later on, Van moved to study in Seattle, Washington where is famous of great coffee shops in the U.S. As days came by, we have come to love American food much more, especially sweet desserts such as cakes, coffee and ice cream. Now, we are settling down in Vietnam, our sweet home country. We had been looking for a variety of American desserts at affordable prices in Saigon. However, it seems to lack something and could not bring us up to the full satisfaction of authentic American desserts, as for us they are more than just the sweet tastes – they are cultures, civilization, people, and life styles we learnt while studying in the U.S. We just badly miss the old good cakes and memories back in the U.S. In order to fulfill our desire for great American cakes, my sister decided to take her first action into learning how to bake on her own. Back then, she was a stay-at-home girl baking daily to learn and share with my family and friends on their special occasions. Her beginning way to baking was pretty great. The proof is she has received great applaud and replies about her cakes from them. One of the most encouraging replies was from a guy who used to study abroad like us and now is working in Vietnam. He said he can finally taste an authentic piece of American cake he has missed for too long. WHAT WE DO
Knowing that sharing the good delicious desserts with our family and friends on their special occasions would be a great easy way to bring all of us close together, every day, we are inspired to keep learning and baking, hoping to do two things: share great authentic American cakes with our friends and help make our society a little better –. It was true when we first started, and it’s just as true today. We hope you will be captivated with the romance of American cake experience as we are. Van now has a vision to bring the American cake tradition back to our homeland. We strive to ensure three main important standards in our baking: carefully chosen healthy ingredients to humans, high quality cakes, and reasonable prices compared to the great quality. Here do we found COME.n.GOT American flavor, a place for online cake shopping, connected conversation and a sense of community. A third place between work and home where we share with you our American cakes and some easy-to-do recipes. 1) Inbox this page. We will send you a confirmation email with the details of order, price and pick-up or delivery.
2) Give us a call at 0120.3111.085. You will text you a confirmation email with the details of order, price and pick-up or delivery. NOTE: if you order via facebook, please include the following details in your order:
_ The name of the cake.
_ The number of servings.
_ Any favors you would like to include in the cake. PICK-UP or DELIVERY
1) You can pick up your cake at our address: 226 Nguyễn Văn Đậu, P.11, Q. Bình Thạnh
2) We will charge delivery fees properly -which means depending on your location. For other locations, we will charge you a reasonable delivery surcharge. PAYMENT
