Two evolving selectors meet for a b2b built around movement, atmosphere and the freedom to explore.

Originally a bass player, Fomococo entered the underground with a desire to push into unfamiliar sonic territory. His approach stays deliberately open, treating every set as another opportunity to learn, react to the room and introduce unexpected sounds.

Hanoi-raised haanhtuan takes a more hypnotic route, focusing on flow, depth and trance-inflected grooves. His sets develop patiently through steady pulses and carefully shaped energy, creating an immersive atmosphere from beginning to end.

Xuất phát điểm là một bass player, Fomococo bước vào underground với mong muốn khám phá những giới hạn âm thanh mới. Anh không đóng khung bản thân trong một phong cách cố định, mà xem mỗi set nhạc là cơ hội để học hỏi, quan sát sàn nhảy và đưa vào những lựa chọn khó đoán.

Lớn lên tại Hà Nội, haanhtuan lại tập trung nhiều hơn vào flow, chiều sâu và những groove mang hơi hướng trance. Các set của anh phát triển từ tốn qua nhịp điệu đều đặn, hypnotic và sự điều tiết năng lượng kỹ lưỡng.

[20/08] SHINPEI AT FACTORY47 🎛️

Starting his musical journey as a guitarist and vocalist in rock and punk bands, Shinpei began DJing in Vietnam in 2017. With house and techno at the core, his sets are often built around a theme or narrative, unfolding as carefully considered journeys rather than fixed genre exercises.

Based between Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi and affiliated with Japanese label Sorameccer Sound Design, Shinpei draws from both Japanese and Vietnamese culture to shape his musical identity. Beyond DJing, his work as a photographer and creative producer further feeds into a multidisciplinary approach to sound and visual culture.

Bắt đầu hành trình âm nhạc với vai trò guitarist và vocalist trong các ban nhạc rock/punk, Shinpei chuyển sang DJ tại Việt Nam từ năm 2017. Lấy house và techno làm nền tảng, anh thường xây dựng mỗi set như một câu chuyện có chủ đề và diễn biến riêng thay vì bị giới hạn bởi một công thức cố định.

Hoạt động giữa TP.HCM và Hà Nội, đồng thời là thành viên của label Nhật Bản Sorameccer Sound Design, Shinpei lấy cảm hứng từ cả văn hóa Nhật Bản lẫn Việt Nam. Công việc trong nhiếp ảnh và creative production cũng góp phần tạo nên cách tiếp cận đa chiều giữa âm nhạc, hình ảnh và văn hóa sáng tạo của anh.

[19/08] MIN8 AT FACTORY47 🎛️

Active since 2013, Min8 has grown into a familiar name within Hanoi’s underground scene, with a sound he describes as “a free pigeon”, moving freely between house, techno and the nostalgic pull of 90s trance without worrying about genre boundaries.

A former resident at Savage and former Music Director of The Warehouse, Min8 has also taken his sound across clubs and events in Asia and Europe. Through his Half.Half series, he continues to connect Vietnamese artists and their creative values with wider communities beyond the country.

Hoạt động từ năm 2013, Min8 đã trở thành một cái tên quen thuộc của underground Hà Nội với dòng chảy âm nhạc mà anh tự gọi là “a free pigeon”, tự do kết nối house, techno và những giai điệu trance thập niên 90 mà không bị giới hạn bởi ranh giới thể loại.

Từng là resident của Savage và cựu Music Director của The Warehouse, Min8 cũng đã mang âm nhạc của mình đến nhiều club và sự kiện tại châu Á và châu Âu. Thông qua chuỗi Half.Half, anh tiếp tục theo đuổi mong muốn kết nối nghệ sĩ Việt Nam với những cộng đồng sáng tạo rộng lớn hơn.

[22/08] CA ĐÊM — TAKAMICHI, JAZZ CAT LUONG & VANDERBEAK 🌙

Ca Đêm returns to Factory47 with Takamichi as this edition’s headliner, joined by Jazz Cat Luong and Vanderbeak for an extended 9PM–3AM session.

From Sapporo and now based in Bangkok, Takamichi has been DJing since around 2000, bringing more than two decades of experience into a passionate, groove-led house sound. His journey has taken him across Asia, sharing lineups with artists including Danilo Plessow, Eric Duncan aka Dr Dunks, Shir Khan and COEO.

Jazz Cat Luong brings a collector’s ear to the night, moving through jazz, funk, soul, disco, global groove and house from the 50s to the 00s. Vanderbeak completes the lineup with a fluid mix of disco, house, electro and leftfield sounds shaped by years between Edinburgh and Hanoi.

Ca Đêm trở lại Factory47 với Takamichi trong vai trò headliner, cùng Jazz Cat Luong và Vanderbeak cho một đêm kéo dài từ 9PM đến 3AM.

Đến từ Sapporo và hiện sống tại Bangkok, Takamichi đã DJ từ khoảng năm 2000, mang theo hơn hai thập kỷ kinh nghiệm cùng phong cách house giàu groove và năng lượng. Anh đã biểu diễn tại nhiều điểm đến ở châu Á và từng xuất hiện cùng những nghệ sĩ như Danilo Plessow, Eric Duncan aka Dr Dunks, Shir Khan và COEO.

Jazz Cat Luong mang đến góc nhìn của một người sưu tầm âm nhạc, đi qua jazz, funk, soul, disco, global groove và house từ thập niên 50s đến 00s. Vanderbeak hoàn thiện đội hình với disco, house, electro và leftfield, được dẫn dắt bởi trực giác với sự tò mò.

[19/08 – 23/08] FACTORY47 MUSIC PROGRAM 📆

Another week of underground music at Factory47, bringing together Hanoi regulars, international selectors and artists with very different approaches to the dancefloor.

Min8 opens Wednesday with his free-flowing mix of house, techno and 90s trance influences. Thursday welcomes Shinpei, connecting Japanese and Vietnamese perspectives through story-driven house and techno. Friday sees Fomococo b2b haanhtuan, pairing free-spirited selections with hypnotic, trance-inflected grooves.

Saturday belongs to Ca Đêm, with Sapporo-born, Bangkok-based headliner Takamichi joined by Jazz Cat Luong and Vanderbeak for an extended 9PM–3AM session. Tobes closes the week on Sunday with an immersive set shaped by original productions and influences stretching from downtempo to high-energy club music.

Một tuần mới của âm nhạc underground tại Factory47, quy tụ những gương mặt quen thuộc của Hà Nội, các selector quốc tế và những nghệ sĩ với cách tiếp cận sàn nhảy hoàn toàn khác nhau.

Min8 mở đầu tối Thứ Tư với dòng chảy tự do giữa house, techno và trance thập niên 90. Thứ Năm là Shinpei, kết nối cảm hứng Nhật Bản và Việt Nam qua những set house và techno giàu tính kể chuyện. Thứ Sáu, Fomococo b2b haanhtuan kết hợp tinh thần chọn nhạc phóng khoáng mang màu sắc trance và hypnotic.

Thứ Bảy, Ca Đêm trở lại với headliner Takamichi đến từ Sapporo và hiện sống tại Bangkok, cùng Jazz Cat Luong và Vanderbeak trong một đêm kéo dài từ 9PM–3AM. Tobes khép lại tuần vào Chủ Nhật bằng hành trình giàu chiều sâu, kết hợp các sáng tác riêng cùng những ảnh hưởng từ downtempo đến club music giàu năng lượng.

Two storytellers of the underground meet for a journey where mysticism, groove and unpredictability collide.

Born in Cairo and now based in Hanoi, E.Motep draws inspiration from spiritual traditions, desert landscapes and global rhythms, weaving house, ethnic house and techno into immersive, atmospheric journeys. Joining him is Phillippé, a selector known for his unconventional personality and fearless approach behind the decks. Blending influences gathered from around the world, his sets are raw, spontaneous and always full of surprises, ensuring that no two performances are ever the same.

Two selectors with deep roots in Hanoi's underground scene come together for a night built on precision, groove and timeless club music.

A resident at Unmute, Nam Phùng has spent years shaping a distinctive sound inspired by his q***r roots, combining leftfield energy, psychedelic textures and playful moments into expressive dancefloor journeys. Joining him is CB, a UK-born DJ with more than 15 years behind the decks, known for his meticulous approach to minimal house and techno. Through subtle shifts in rhythm, refined mixing and carefully crafted atmosphere, CB creates sets that unfold with patience and purpose.

Two selectors from different corners of the underground come together for a b2b built on curiosity, groove and thoughtful storytelling.

Drawn to the underground long before stepping behind the decks, Bujno has developed a style driven by infectious grooves, playful basslines and an instinct for uncovering hidden gems that keep the dancefloor moving. Joining him is Kenno, originally from Melbourne/Naarm and now a long-time resident at Mirage Hanoi and founder of the samo.malo collective. His genre-fluid approach blends house, techno and electro into expressive soundscapes shaped by the energy of each space.
