A big shout out to Huma Jaudat the proprietor of the only Pakistani home kitchen in Saigon. She was kind enough to teach the kids her pepper chicken and the secret techniques associated with it at Crazy Corianderchefs kitchen at British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official) the week before last. The chicken was polished off from the pans itself with naan bread to scoop it up. If you are looking for authentic Pakistani cuisine in the city do reach out to Little Lahore!

Crazy Coriander Chefs table at British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official) was delighted to have return Saigons only baker lawyer! Jerome Buzenet cofounder Tartine Saïgon was engaging and theatrical and very fun with his class on their famous sourdough. He also put down the Tartine secret formula on a table as we were missing a board. How cool is that?We look forward to have you return again and again.

Last week coriander chef’s table British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official) we had chef Eden Daus back from Lê Sừng .. fantastic Malaysian cuisine in the city. The chef did a simple but effective dish. The humble fried rice with a secret ingredient that elevated it to the next level. Can you guess what this was?

Pendolasco set the tone for Term 1 of Crazy Coriander Chefs Table British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official) starting with handmade pasta. There was broad strands and thin spaghetti but it was all yum! Chef Guisippe had the kids totally focused on a fun 1 hour!

One of our biggest supporters and favourite chefs was back in the house recently for Crazy Coriander Chefs Table British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official).
Chef Sakal owner P'ti Saigon and Le Corto came in with his fine dining style and skills and elvated the humble egg into a gourmet dish.
He did 2 kinds
- a traditional poached egg with avocado mousse on sourdough
- the hot and cold egg was a sousvide egg with cream whipped with a blend of spices and topped with maple syrup. The excitement started with using the unique tool to crack the egg and take the top off with a blade. The chef asked me to try it and the subtle flavours blew me away. The kids were on the fence and were lucky to develop their palette in this way. This class was everything we hoped for when we started this club. I am sure the kids are going to be able to say at some point soon that a michellin starred chef came and taught them 😀

Crazy Coriander Chefs Table at British International School - Ho Chi Minh City (Official) had Mustard The Indian Restaurant visiting us. The chefs taught the kids Momos - Nepal’s version of a dumpling and Vegetable Manchurian. The kids were intrigued by the concept of Chindian . Chindian or Indian Chinese was born in Kolkata at Tangda( China town) when the Chinese started playing with Indian spices.
We look forward to having Chef Sakal from P'ti Sai back next week!
