The Pop Up

The Pop Up 'The Pop Up' is a monthly pop up restaurant with all proceeds going towards local charities in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

I've always wanted to contribute to charities in some way but I'm not quite cut out for building houses, cycling the length of Vietnam etc. so I've decided to put my passion for cooking to good use and start up a pop up restaurant. The Pop Up will take place once a month at Aperitivo. I'll be serving a delicious Set Menu and all proceeds raised will be donated to The Little Rose Shelter in Vietna

m. A bit about me:

I relocated to Vietnam in 2012 after spending 4 years working as a chef in Glasgow, Scotland. During my time as a chef, I worked at one of Glasgow longest standing fine dining restaurants, The Ubiquitous Chip. I also have experience working at Michelin Star restaurants across Scotland, notably:

• Andrew Fairlies at Gleneagles – 2 Michelin star
• Restaurant Martin Wishart – 1 Michelin star
