Arthur Lundeen, of Arizona, reportedly became disruptive on American Airlines Flight 618, which boarded in Dallas, and multiple passengers had to help duct-tape him to his seat.

Lundeen was a real estate agent with Long Realty in Tucson and has since been fired from the company, NBC affiliate KVOA reported.

Lundeen was arrested by authorities in Maryland after the flight was diverted. He is facing disorderly conduct and assault charges.

Everybody in the Carolinas knows about the Dragon over in Tennessee. 🐍 Far fewer people know that North Carolina has its own version, and it does not come with a line of traffic and a photographer on every curve.

NC 226A runs between Marion and Little Switzerland, and riders call it the Diamondback. Roughly twelve miles, something like 190 curves, switchback after switchback climbing the escarpment through hardwood forest with the ridgelines stacking up blue behind you. The old road was there long before the Parkway, and it still feels like it belongs to whoever happens to be on it that afternoon.

The real reward is not the driving. It is pulling off at a gravel overlook with nobody else around, cutting the engine, and listening to the valley. Late sun coming sideways through the trees, mist starting to gather down in the hollows, and no reason at all to be anywhere else. 🌄
