I would like to update BLACK PEPPER MARKET today on March 18th, 2023

At the end of the last trading session of the week, the International Pepper Community (IPC) listed the price of Lampung black pepper (Indonesia) at 3,497, up 0.34% USD/ton; Brazilian black pepper price ASTA 570 at USD 2,950/ton; Kuching black pepper price (Malaysia) ASTA kept at USD 4,900/ton.
Muntok white pepper price $6,021/ton, up 0.35%; Malaysia ASTA white pepper price is still at 7,300 USD/ton.
Vietnam black pepper price traded at 3,325 USD/ton with 500 g/l grade, 550g/l grade at 3,375 USD/ton; white pepper price at 4,880 USD/ton.
According to the International Pepper Community, the pepper market this week continues to show mixed reactions with the reported decrease in Indian and Sri Lankan pepper prices. The reason is that the domestic currencies of the countries depreciate against the USD.
