There is two main types of public transport system in Port Vila. Mini buses with a B on their number plates and taxis. The Buses are the cheapest and you can hail them down from anywhere - some may only work certain areas so you may have to wait for another one going to where you particularly want to go. At Benjor we will ring you a local bus - allow about 20 minutes for it to come and about AUD$4 per person into town. Good idea to then make your own arrangement with that bus driver to pick you up later (get his mobile - everyone has them!). Taxis are also able to flagged down and are a little more expensive but will take you directly to where you want. Remember island time is key!!!
