The hollyhocks are showing off this morning! ☀️

Every flower arrangement starts right here in the garden, where beauty and purpose grow side by side. These hollyhocks stand tall, attracting pollinators, adding color to the landscape, and reminding us that something beautiful can grow from patience and care.

From the garden beds of Mae’s Paige Garden to fresh-cut flower arrangements, we’re growing more than flowers—we’re growing hope, education, and community. 💚

One thing about Mae’s Paige Garden — we grow food AND healing herbs. 💚

✨ Mint may help support:
🌿 Digestion
🌿 Bloating relief
🌿 Nausea support
🌿 Fresh breath
🌿 Stress relief & relaxation
🌿 Cold & sinus support
🌿 Herbal teas & infused water

Fresh mint can be used in:
🍵 Tea
🥗 Salads
💧 Fruit-infused water
🍋 Lemonades
🧴 Natural wellness products
🍓 Smoothies & desserts

At Mae’s Paige Garden, we believe in growing food with purpose and teaching our community how plants can nourish the body naturally. 🌱

Fresh herbs, fresh produce, flowers, pollinator spaces, and healing all growing together right here in Indianapolis. 💚

🌱🧅 Mae’s Paige Garden Update 🧅🌱Can We Ryde IncNicole Woods

The onions are thriving over here at Mae’s Paige Garden! Some are already sending up beautiful blooms and seed heads, which means we’ll be able to save seeds and continue growing for future seasons. 💚

This section is mixed with:
🧅 onions
🍇 grapevine
🌼 flowers for pollinators
🌿 companion plants
🐝 pollinator-friendly greens and herbs

I love creating spaces that are not only productive but beautiful and sustainable too. Every area of the garden is slowly becoming a living ecosystem where food, flowers, pollinators, and community all work together.

The goal is to grow fresh food, save seeds, teach others, and continue building a self-sufficient community one garden bed at a time. 🌱

Honored to serve as a judge for the 3rd Annual Pitch Competition at Walker Career Center!

It was truly inspiring to hear students present their ideas, business concepts, and visions for the future. Events like these are so important because they help empower the next generation of entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers within our community.

As the founder of Can We Ryde Inc. and Mae’s Paige Garden, I understand the importance of mentorship, opportunity, creativity, and having people who believe in your vision. Being able to pour back into our youth and support their growth was an amazing experience.

Thank you to Walker Career Center for the opportunity to be part of such a powerful event and for continuing to invest in students, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

The future is bright!

Walker Career Center officially kicked off this year’s High School to the Pros Pitch Competition, and the students showed up ready. From creative business ideas to confident presentations, students had the opportunity to pitch concepts and ideas that they’ve been building throughout the semester...

🍓 Fresh strawberries straight from the garden! There’s nothing like walking outside and picking your own food with your own hands.

At Mae’s Paige Garden, we believe growing your own food is more than gardening — it’s health, healing, self-sufficiency, and teaching the next generation where real food comes from. ❤️🌱

Did you know strawberries are packed with:
🍓 Vitamin C to help support your immune system
🍓 Antioxidants that help fight inflammation
🍓 Fiber for gut health
🍓 Natural sweetness without all the added sugars

And honestly… they just taste better fresh out the garden. ☀️

We’re excited for strawberry season and thankful to continue growing fresh food for our community here on the east side of Indianapolis.
