🍎🍂 Happy Thanksgiving from Belvedere Orchard!

If you’ve ever picked an apple straight from the tree, taken that first crunchy bite, and thought, “Oh, that’s a good one!” — you know one of the little joys of autumn on PEI! 😊

This Thanksgiving, we’ve been thinking about all the wonderful people who visited our orchard this season.

Some came with their families, some brought friends, and some simply wanted a bag of fresh Island apples. We loved seeing children proudly carrying the apples they picked themselves (and occasionally choosing the biggest ones they could find!). 😄🍎

Thank you for making Belvedere Orchard part of your autumn traditions. It means a lot to us!

And knowing that our apple harvest also helps support the QEH Foundation makes this season even more meaningful.

We hope your Thanksgiving table is full of delicious food, good company, plenty of laughter, and perhaps an apple pie made with fresh Belvedere apples! 🥧

From our family to yours, Happy Thanksgiving! 🧡🍁

P.S. We'd love to know — did any of our apples make it into your Thanksgiving baking this year? 😋

🍎 Some orchard visits are extra special! ❤️

We had the honour of welcoming John and Karen Gaudet, along with their lovely family, to Belvedere Orchard, and it meant a lot to us. John dedicated nine years to the QEH Foundation Board of Directors, including serving as its respected and much-loved Chair. His leadership helped raise significant funds for critical medical equipment and better healthcare for Islanders.

John and Karen, THANK YOU for everything you have done for our Island community! It was truly special to welcome you, walk the orchard together and share some of our delicious apples! 🍏🍎

And thank you to everyone who visited us this beautiful weekend! Every apple picked supports local and helps us give back to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. 🧡

Good apples. Great people. One incredible Island community! 🤗🍎❤️ https://www.belvedereorchard.com/

For a few beautiful moments, the orchard was filled with music. 🍎🎶

Lucie Liu visited Belvedere Orchard with her daughter and friends, surprising us with a live performance of Chinese classical music. The sound carried through the orchard on the light breeze, and for a few moments, everyone simply stopped to listen. 😍

Lucie, thank you so much for sharing your music with us. It was such a lovely gift, and we’re so glad you came! 🫶

Lucie is a Director on the Board of the Chinese Society of Prince Edward Island. We’re grateful for the chance to meet people who bring so much to our Island community—and for moments like this that bring us together. ❤️

The apples are wonderful. The people who come to pick them make the orchard even more special! 🍎

Thank you to Kristi Petro and her team from PEI Community Navigators for visiting Belvedere Orchard with your friends and families and supporting our fundraiser for the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation. 🧡

Days like this remind us how lucky we are to live on this Island and be part of a community that shows up for one another. 😍 If you haven’t visited yet, today is a lovely day for apple picking! Bring a basket, your friends or family, and come taste the apples straight from the tree.

Belvedere Orchard U-Pick is open today, Sunday, from 1–4 pm.
