We have had a couple cancelations and no shows this spring. It seems we always get a handful each year. We understand that sometimes life changes and plans have to adjust and we do our best to accommodate. However, this does mean we now have piglets available.

English Large Black weanlings (gilts, boars and meat quality) ready last week of June.
Red Wattle weanlings (barrows) ready last week of June.
Ossabaw Island Hog weanlings (meat quality), ready now.

After much debate of the vision, goals and needs of the farm we have decided it is time to part with our dear llamas. They are available as a bounded pair to an approved home only, preferably with sheep. Also have lambs that could accompany.

Andy came to us in 2019 and is believed to be 10+ years old, but we don't know his exact age. He is neutered, halter trained and LOVES his sheep and takes his job of protecting them seriously. He accepts scratches and doesn't know what personal space means.

Normen joined our place in 2024 and is coming up on 4 years old. He is also neutered. He has come a long way since arriving at our place. He takes his job as lamb protector seriously but is not aggressive to humans. He is not halter trained yet, though i have put one on him before. He is shy and doesnt accept scratches but does come to the tap of a bucket.

Currently no health concerns for either.

**PENDING** thank you for all the responses. We believe we have found them a good home.

Our pork is offered breed specific, providing a unique opportunity to connect to heritage livestock breeds. Learn their differences and support diversity in our food systems. Our pigs are raised in the great outdoors and fed a soy-free, corn-free custom, complete feed.

We are working on planning a livestock transport to Prince George and Kamloops area from our farm one hour East of Edmonton and back, most likely in June.

If you're along this route and you're interested in pigs from us, reach out as soon as possible so we can finalize transport plans.

The verdict is out! Harriete had a beautiful litter of thirteen piglets. One stillborn and twelve lively piglets. There was a pretty significant variance in birth weights throughout the litter which is interesting to note and will be noted in her record. So far she has been a phenomenal mama, as per her normal. Historically Harriete has very few prior to weaning losses. If we keep up these averages we will have more piglets available than predicted.

Amelia, Harriete and Azalea are due any day, I'm honestly not sure how much bigger they can get. Hoping they have them on one of the warmer days 🙏
