Online training with Liberia this morning. What a great experience to hear and see what is happening in the Liberia Fishing and Aquaculture space. We will be working over the next few week to formulate a Tilapia Farming Africa plan for the further training of farmers. For practical skills development and increase Tilapia production. The need for small scale farmers to be self sufficient and productive for household and community food security is great. Remember that we believe that every fish on a plate is an important fish. We will be inviting others to join our online Tilapia sessions, these are not lectures or fancy powerpoint presentations. These are discussions and open question and answer sessions giving farmers real life experiences and skills from us and from other farmers who have been through the same learning and challenges to get to where they are. To Join us drop us an email with your details and the reason you feel you need to attend and what you hope to get from being part of the platform. We will review and send you a link. The sessions will be run most Saturdays 10:00 - 12:00 CAT. Greenwich Meantime +2 Hours. Email Please via the website.

Fish Fish Fish How much longer will companies like this be able to buy fish from the fishermen and process and sell? The only way to preserve these communities is for us to farm more fish. We cannot farm sardines or many other species, but we can farm Tilapia and that is great for us, for our farmers, their communities and for wild fish too. Help us protect the fish traditions and values by eating more locally farmed fresh fish.

We are excited to meet so many New Farmers this year already! Thank you. Our conversations generally start with how do I start? This leads into a long fruitful talk about how much research has been done, then finding us. How excited you are about aquaculture and a string of questions all good by the way. Keeps me focussed. We have designed a fun process guide which will apply to most new Tilapia Farming Projects, we trust it will set you on your Tilapia Farming journey in what ever way you see it developing. We are always available. www.tilapiafarming.co.za [email protected]. We loved hearing from you and hope you will come back to us soon. Regards David
