💔 🐾 It’s been about a week (I couldn’t bring myself to share this sooner) since we said goodbye to our sweet Pandora. She brought so much love and joy to us with her sweet, outgoing personality. I’m so glad we got to travel full time with her this last year-she enjoyed it sooo much and loved the adventure. 💔

Finished a T-shirt last week. It’s sooo light and airy (yarn was dyed by our friend in NM (Kylaris Kritters) The pair of socks that have been on my needles for a bit 😆 (bought that yarn in Galveston) and started another pair of socks (yarn from Mad Dyeworks-another dyer in NM). And started a tank top with some beautiful yarn I bought at a craft show from My Fine Yarn in Galveston. Fiber I’m currently spinning I got at the Fresh Coast Fiber Festival last weekend. 😜

A trip to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Pierce Stocking Scenic drive
is a 7.4 mile one way loop in Sleeping Bear Dunes with a lookout that has a spectacular view of Lake Michigan. Then we headed to Glen Arbor for some light strolling and lunch 😋

Pandoras “good days” have turned more into “good mornings” with slower afternoons/evenings. Yesterday morning, while she was moving a little better, we took her to a beach off of Grand Traverse Bay (off of Lake Michigan). The minute we pulled into the parking lot and she saw the “big water” her face lit up-she loves her some beach time 🥰 We have no idea how many more times we’ll get to do this but it’s worth the trip every time.

Getting a little fiber in this weekend-merino, alpaca, llama, cashmere, silk and more! When we booked our time here in Michigan we didn’t know about this fiber festival-the hubby had it pop up on a search for things happening in the area during our time here. Holy moly I had fun and with over 60 vendors I got some great goodies!!! I can’t wait to dive into projects! I wish I’d have remembered to get some video but I was too excited and like a kid given free range in a candy store 😂 thank you so much Fresh Coast Fiber Festival Community and all your amazing vendors!
