This week has been a WHIRLWIND!! Not only are we picking strawberries, but we are also trying to get caught up on planting.

We finally had a long enough window of dry weather to get our ground ready to plant our June bearing strawberries. We hand-plant these on raised beds which helps to prevent them from drowning before they get established, if we get a heavy rainfall.

We will cultivate and w**d these plants, allowing runners to fill in the rows, so they will be ready to harvest in June 2027. The rows pictured are our 2025 planting that we just started harvesting for the first time this year.

Huge SHOUT OUT to our fantastic employees who are working hard to get these plants in the ground as quickly as possible.

We will have LIMITED QUANTITIES at DUNNVILLE FARMERS MARKET this afternoon, at the HAGERSVILLE FARMERS MARKET on Wednesday morning and at our FARM STORE.
