Mama’s cake. That’s what I call it. My kids call it Nani’s cake. It’s so nostalgic that if you are a kid that grew up in Pakistan then you’ll sure going to love it!

Ingredients:
3 cup flour
Baking powder 2 teaspoon 
Baking soda 1 teaspoon
Salt 1/4 tsp
2 eggs
1 2/3 milk
1 1/4 cup oil
1 3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp cocoa powder

Bake on 300 degrees for an hour and 10 min. Leave it in the oven for 5-10 min after oven is turned off.

Chicken Karahi recipe that takes under an hour to cook and holy moly is it amazing.

Ingredients in order:
1 chicken cut in to pieces
1 cup oil
1/2 head of garlic, crushed
1 inch ginger, crushed
2 tsp salt
1 tsp red chili
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
6 tomatoes cut in half
1 cup water
For garnish:
6 green chilies
1-2 tsp garam masala

Aloo Palak. Nothing beats homemade Saag. Make this restaurants quality Alu Palak at home and be impressed by your own culinary skills. Healthy and nutritious.

Ingredients:
20 oz of palak (spinach)
1 tbsp sukhi methi (fenugreek leaves)
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbspm crushed garlic
6 crushed green chilies
1 tsp crushed turmeric
2 tbsp crushed ginger
2 large sliced onions
4 medium puréed tomatoes
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp red chili powder
2 medium cubed potatoes
1 cup water
1 tbsp fenugreek leaves

Shahi Kulfi is a guilty pleasure! It is a traditional ice cream of Indian subcontinent. An authentic version takes hours to make. This recipe however only requires 10 minutes (or less) to whip up and believe it or not tastes just as good. Make this for Eid!

Ingredients:
2 cans evaporated milk (24oz)
1/3 can sweetened condensed milk (14oz)
1 cup Heavy whipping cream 
4-5 cardamom pods (seeds crushed)
Pinch of saffron strands
2 sliced of bread
1 tbsp chopped almonds
1 tbsp chopped pistachios

Ingredients:
4 pounds of goat or veal meat
2 tbsp crushed ginger
2 tbsp crushed garlic
1 tbsp crushed fresh turmeric or 1 tsp turmeric powder
1/2-1 tsp salt
2 tbsp garam masala

Toppings:
1/2 cup chopped Dhania (cilantro)
Lots of julienne ginger
4-6 chopped green chilies
Freshly squeezed lemon juice

You can’t love Chinese food and not be obsessed with Orange Chicken. I mean it’s such a classic. Love the flavors and crunch from crispy chicken.

Ingredients:
3 pounds of boneless chicken thighs cut in cubes
2 egg whites
1/4 cup of corn starch or rice starch
3 tbsp of soy sauce
1 tsp of ground black pepper
2 cups of cooking oil for frying
Sauce:
1/4 cup of orange juice
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp corn starch
1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 cup of ketchup
1/4 cup water

1 tbsp crushed ginger
1 tbsp crushed garlic
2 cups chopped broccoli
1 tbsp orange zest
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp sesame seeds
