OUR STORY
Tema P.G. Farm, run by 2 Brothers - Lance and Spinx, is a farm dedicated to bringing you quality beef animals from the veld, sustainably farmed in harmony with the natural environment. We pride ourselves on being Honest, Ethical and Ecological. Our cattle simply graze the lush grass on the river side, hillsides and extensive terrain, and we also breed free range Tswana chickens, which ar

e allowed to roam and forage to their hearts content. Currently running a commercial Grey and Red Brahman line, the farm has also run trials with Brahman-Brown Swiss hybrid, and the Brahman - Charolais hybrid for Hardy-ness, Heat Resistance, Docilility, Milk and Beef. At Tema P.G. Farm we don’t chase numbers, but strive to develop a quality commercial line, building up to a future Brahman stud. We are not selfish, however, and share our land with lots of different species of plants, mammals, birds, reptiles and insects. Our pasture based farming encourages biodiversity.

Excited and looking forward to potentially introducing the famed Sugarlands Genetics (courtesy of Tsuje Brahmans) to the herd this coming winter as we aim to start correcting for several traits and adding weight to the herd... It is a journey and we are taking it one day at time! There is no joy that surpasses the joy of transformation!

It has been a terrible drought period... Suffered losses but finally the good days shall return... Scaled down greatly this year to avoid significant losses.... But finally God has answered our prayers.... Ntshe in full flow bank to bank for the second time since mid-November... Recorded almost 94mm rain this morning..... We shall be back
