Eddie's Eggs

Eddie's Eggs are produced in the heart of the Sundays River Valley on a 100% certified organic citrus farm. The farm is certified organic by the certifying agent, Control Union, under two standards namely that of the European Union(EU) and the USA (NOP). All feed

is tested at the University of the Free State for GMOs prior to being fed to the hens. The happy hens are housed in their safe eggmobiles by night and by day they roam freely under the citrus trees where they find ample shade and protection from predators. Each eggmobile houses 300 birds and has a massive 1500 square metres of orchard space for them to scratch, peck and dust bathe as mother nature intended.

Born from the need for cleaner, quality feed, Farmer Eddie’s Animal Feeds hatched when our founder was unable to find a GMO Free feed for his own animals. So he began the process of sourcing GMO Free grains and built a small family owned and operated feed mill in the heart of the Eastern Cape. Now with Diatomaceous Earth, Bokashi, and Moringa.
